FAQ

Common questions

How does shipping-method targeting work?
You type the method name in the target field — partial matches count. So 'Stand' matches 'Standard Shipping', 'Standard 5-Day', etc. Matching is case-insensitive. Useful when shipping carriers' names vary slightly between regions.
What conditions can I combine?
Seven types: cart amount (subtotal before shipping), product count, shipping country, shipping province, shipping ZIP code, product tags, and product collection. Combine multiple conditions with AND (all must match) or OR (any can match).
What actions can I apply?
Three actions per rule, and you can stack them: hide a method, rename a method, or reorder a method (move it up or down in the checkout list). Combine actions in one rule — for example, rename a method AND move it to the top.
Does this work on every Shopify plan?
Yes. BTB works on Basic, Grow, Advanced, and Plus — the same underlying platform BTB is built on.
Do I need Shopify B2B Companies to use this?
No. BTB targets customers by tag on the regular Shopify storefront — no Companies, no separate B2B checkout. If you also use Shopify B2B, BTB layers on top.
