How is BTB different from Shopify B2B (now on every plan)?
Shopify rolled native B2B onto every plan in April 2026 — that’s a great change. BTB earns its place two ways. Depth: BTB’s rules target tagged customer groups without Company accounts, MOQs hold across every storefront page, and discounts have per-product / per-collection scope. Coverage: BTB ships storefront quote forms, a quick-order page, store gating, cart-level order limits, and B2B discount codes — none of which Shopify B2B includes at any tier.
Do I need to set up Shopify B2B to use BTB?
No. BTB works on your regular Shopify storefront — no Companies, no catalogs, no separate B2B checkout. Target wholesale rules by customer tag (e.g. apply wholesale pricing to anyone tagged "wholesale") and you’re done. If you also use Shopify B2B, BTB happily layers on top.
What does BTB do that Shopify B2B doesn’t?
Five workflows Shopify B2B doesn’t ship at any plan: (1) Storefront Quote Form with a 3-step wizard, (2) Quick Order Form — dedicated bulk-add page with search / filter / sort, (3) Store Lock / Hide Pricing — gate the storefront behind login or passcode, (4) Order Limits — cart-quantity + cart-amount + per-product + per-collection minimums in one feature, (5) Wholesale Discount Codes — code-driven B2B discounts with customer + product targeting.
How does pricing work?
Two paid plans, both with a 7-day free trial: Growth at $8.99 / month (or $80 / year — save 26%) covers Quick Order Form, Wholesale Pricing, B2B Discounts, MOQ, and Product / Collection order limits. Advanced at $29 / month (or $290 / year — save 17%) adds Quote Form, Store Lock, Wholesale Discount Codes, Vendor / Variant limits, and Payment / Shipping Rules — plus priority support.
Will BTB conflict with my theme?
BTB ships theme app blocks and works on every Online Store 2.0 theme. Most setups need zero code. Our team helps with edge cases on paid plans.
Does BTB handle net payment terms or PO uploads?
No. Net payment terms are now native in Shopify B2B — use it for that. BTB focuses on storefront merchandising: MOQ, pricing rules, gating, quotes, quick-order. PO uploads and tax-exempt automation are out of scope.
